The B.B. Battery BPL95-12 is a 12-volt monobloc battery using valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) technology, belonging to the BPL series, whose capacity range is broad, from 3.3 ampere-hours to 210 ampere-hours. This battery has a Nominal Capacity of 95 ampere-hours (based on the 20-hour discharge rate) and also provides discharge performance of 80.8 ampere-hours at the 5-hour rate and 47.5 ampere-hours at the 30-minute rate, making it particularly suitable for scenarios requiring longer backup times; it is generally recommended for backup times of 30 minutes or more. Its sturdy housing is made of opaque and impact-resistant ABS plastic, the battery cover is firmly connected to the housing, and the terminal area is sealed for safety. Terminal designs vary by series and type, with the standard configuration being the B3 type and the optional I2 type. The battery cover has six filling holes, through which electrolyte is filled during production, after which pressure relief valves made of non-combustible material are installed; these valves effectively ensure a high level of fire and explosion safety. The battery as a whole is designed without free acid, features leak-proof characteristics, is of the Maintenance Free type, and requires no water replenishment during use. Inside, it uses absorbent glass mat technology to achieve efficient gas recombination and, together with the explosion-proof filter and flame arrestor, further enhances safety in use. The battery has an extremely low self-discharge rate, with capacity loss of less than three percent per month, facilitating long-term storage. In terms of installation, it offers a high degree of flexibility and can be installed in horizontal and vertical positions, but inverted use is prohibited. For ease of handling and installation, the battery is equipped with a practical carrying handle. Its external dimensions are 329 mm (12.95 inches) in length, 172 mm (6.77 inches) in width, 215 mm (8.46 inches) in height, and 238 mm (9.37 inches) in total height, with a Weight of approximately 33.2 kg (73.2 lbs). BPL series batteries have an excellent service life under normal operating conditions, expected to reach 12 years, meeting the Eurobat standard for long-life batteries.
