BPL40-12 is a 12 V valve-regulated lead-acid battery in the B.B. Battery BPL series. Its Nominal Capacity is 40 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 34 Ah at the 5-hour rate, and 20 Ah at the 30-minute rate. Weight is 14.6 kg. The standard Terminal Type is B2, and the optional Terminal Types are I1 and I2. The battery uses absorbed glass mat technology for efficient gas recombination and is Maintenance Free (no water topping-up required), with no free acid (leak-proof battery) and a low self-discharge rate.
