BPL17-12 is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the B.B. Battery BPL series, with an overall voltage of 12 V. The battery case is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, the battery cover is tightly connected to the case, and the terminal area is effectively sealed to prevent electrolyte leakage, achieving a no-free-acid leak-proof characteristic. BPL17-12 comes standard with B1 type terminals and can also be optionally equipped with T2 I1 type terminals, providing users with flexible connection options.
The battery cover has six filling holes for filling electrolyte during production, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is installed, ensuring Maintenance Free operation with no user water replenishment required and providing fire and explosion safety. Inside the battery, both the positive and negative plates are coated with specially formulated paste active material, and absorbent glass mat technology is used to achieve efficient internal oxygen recombination, thereby reducing water loss and the self-discharge rate, allowing the battery to retain its charge after long-term storage.
