BPL17-12 is a 12V VRLA battery from the B.B. Battery BPL series, designed specifically for stable power supply requirements. This series of batteries is produced in an integral form. The casing is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic. The battery cover is firmly connected to the casing, and the terminal area is sealed to ensure safe use. The battery cover is provided with six holes, through which electrolyte is filled during production, and then a pressure relief valve is installed. The pressure relief valve is made of non-combustible materials, which can effectively ensure fire and explosion safety.
BPL17-12 has many excellent properties: it adopts a maintenance-free design and does not require water supplementation; the feature of no free acid makes it a leak-proof battery and more reliable to use;Low self-discharge rate ensures good performance after long-term storage; supports horizontal and vertical installation (inversion is prohibited), with flexible installation. Both the positive and negative plates of the battery are coated with a paste-like coating, and the absorbent glass mat separator technology is adopted to achieve efficient gas recombination, improving use efficiency and safety.
In terms of service life and capacity, BPL series batteries have an expected service life of up to 12 years under normal working conditions, conform to Eurobat standards, and have a long service life. The nominal capacity of BPL17-12 varies with discharge rates: 17Ah at 20-hour rate, 14.45Ah at 5-hour rate, 8.5Ah at 30-minute rate, and it is recommended to use it when the backup time is 30 minutes or longer.
