The BP series Valve Regulated Sealed Lead-Acid batteries to which BP230-12 belongs offer 4 V, 6 V, and 12 V monobloc voltages, with capacities ranging from 1.0 to 230 Ah. The case is made of sturdy, opaque, shock-resistant ABS plastic; the battery cover is firmly connected to the case, and the terminal area is sealed to ensure structural reliability. The battery cover has six filling holes, through which electrolyte is filled during production, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is installed; this design achieves Maintenance Free operation with no water replenishment and provides fire and explosion protection safety, with a flame arrestor integrated per cell, complete leak protection, and no free electrolyte escape. Both positive and negative plates are coated with a specially formulated paste coating, which, combined with sealing technology, keeps the monthly self-discharge rate below 3%, effectively extending usability during idle periods. Installation is flexible, supporting vertical or horizontal installation, and carrying handles are provided for deployment in various spaces. Under normal operating conditions, the expected service life of this series of batteries can reach 8 to 10 years, meeting the Eurobat standard for long-life batteries.
