BP200-12 belongs to the B.B. Battery BP series of VRLA batteries. This series is produced in 4 V, 6 V, or 12 V monobloc forms, with a capacity range from 1.0 Ah to 230 Ah. The battery case is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, the battery cover is firmly connected to the case, and the terminal area is well sealed. The battery is filled with electrolyte through six holes in the battery cover, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is installed, achieving Maintenance Free operation with no need for regular water replenishment and ensuring fire and explosion safety, fully leak-proof with no risk of free electrolyte escape. Both the positive and negative plates are coated with a special paste coating, which, combined with the low self-discharge characteristic of less than 3% per month, effectively extends the battery's idle life.
BP200-12 provides a standard voltage of 12 V, a Nominal Capacity of 200 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 190 Ah at the 10-hour rate, and 170 Ah at the 5-hour rate, making it suitable for scenarios with backup times of 30 minutes or longer. The battery weighs approximately 61.5 kg and measures 522 mm in length, 202 mm in width, 216 mm in height, and 240 mm in total height. It supports vertical or horizontal installation and is equipped with a carrying handle for easy on-site installation and deployment. The standard Terminal Type is B9, located at position 13, and I3 is also available as an optional Terminal Type. The flame arrestor integrated into each cell further enhances application safety.
Under normal operating conditions, BP series batteries have an expected service life of up to 8 to 10 years, in accordance with the Eurobat standard for long-life batteries.
