BP120-12 belongs to the B.B. Battery BP series of VRLA batteries, which use valve-regulated sealed lead-acid technology and are produced in a 12 V monobloc form. The battery case is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, the battery cover is firmly connected to the case, the terminal area is sealed, and there is no free electrolyte inside, making the battery leak-proof and Maintenance Free. This model comes standard with B4 terminals and offers optional I2 terminals. The six holes on the battery cover are used for electrolyte filling during production, after which a dedicated pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is installed to ensure safe release of internal pressure and to enhance fire and explosion safety. Both the positive and negative plates use specially formulated paste coatings to optimize electrochemical reaction efficiency. BP120-12 features low self-discharge, with a self-discharge rate of less than 3% per month, so it retains its charge after long-term storage. Its design supports vertical or horizontal installation, facilitating integration into cabinets or equipment with limited space; carrying handles on the sides of the battery make handling and installation easier.
