B.B. Battery FTB Series (Front-terminal Batteries) VRLA batteries are produced in 12V units, with a capacity range of 100 to 180Ah. The FTB110-12 model has a rated capacity of 112.2Ah at the 10-hour rate. This series is developed specifically for telecommunication applications, with a long float life and high capacity, and is expected to have a service life of 15 years under normal operating conditions (according to Eurobat standards).
The case is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic. The battery cover is firmly connected to the case by hot-melt welding, ensuring a leak-proof seal, and the terminal area is also sealed.The battery cover is equipped with six holes for electrolyte filling during production, followed by the installation of a pressure relief valve. The pressure relief valve is made of non-combustible materials, ensuring a high level of fire and explosion safety, and is equipped with a flame suppressor for further safety. Both positive and negative plates are pasted-coated, and the absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology is used for efficient gas recombination. The one-way self-sealing safety valve design helps to extend the battery's service life.
The remarkable advantage of the FTB series lies in its front-end design. The terminals are located on the front of the battery, allowing it to be easily installed in 19-inch or 23-inch cabinets and racks, which greatly facilitates the arrangement and subsequent maintenance of the battery pack, especially suitable for the 48VDC standard 23-inch rack configuration. In addition, the battery handle design is easy to install, the rib design ensures structural integrity, and the battery can be flexibly installed in horizontal or vertical positions.
