The FTB100-12 belongs to the FTB series of front terminal batteries, is supplied as a single unit, and is designed specifically for telecommunications applications. Its case is made of sturdy, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic; the battery cover is tightly connected to the case, and the terminal area is completely sealed. The battery cover has six filling holes through which electrolyte is filled during production, after which pressure relief valves made of non-combustible material are installed to maintain internal pressure balance.
Internally, both the positive and negative plates of the FTB series batteries use a paste coating process. All terminals are located on the front of the battery, making it easy to integrate into standard 19-inch or 23-inch cabinets and racks, and it supports both horizontal and vertical installation. The product uses absorbent glass mat technology to achieve efficient gas recombination, ensures mechanical integrity through a reinforced rib design, and is equipped with flame arrestors and a one-way self-sealing safety valve. The battery also features carrying handles, and its form factor is adapted to 48VDC standard 19-inch rack configurations.
