The Zelus GBS series GBS12/43.5B.B. battery is a VRLA (valve-regulated sealed lead-acid) battery using gelled electrolyte. It forms a gel-like fixed electrolyte by mixing sulfuric acid and silica fume, effectively eliminating common problems such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and corrosion in traditional wet batteries. Antimony in the lead plates is replaced by calcium, which reduces gassing while maintaining mechanical properties, and cooperates with the valve regulation system to achieve safe gas discharge, making the structure more stable and reliable.
This battery is in a 12V integrated form, with a nominal capacity of 43.5Ah (100-hour rate, 1.80V/unit termination voltage), and a weight of about 16.1Kg (52.91Ibs.)， the terminal type is I2, the internal resistance is 8.0mΩ (fully charged), and it can be installed horizontally or vertically to meet various scene requirements.
The core advantages of the product are remarkable: it adopts solid lead coating technology and gel electrolyte, the deep cycle design ensures maximum capacity and discharge cycle ability, the expected service life under normal working conditions is as long as 12 years, and the number of cycles is as high as 2500 times (in line with Eurobat standards). The gel fills the entire battery volume, heat is easily conducted to the casing, and the heat dissipation is efficient; the fixed design of the electrolyte completely avoids the acid stratification problem;Maintenance-free feature eliminates the need for water addition and replenishment. The low self-discharge rate results in a capacity loss of less than 2% per month. The opening and closing pressure control of the special valve further ensures the cycle life of the battery.
Wide working temperature range, can operate stably in the environment of -20℃~55℃ (-4°F~131°F). The container material standard is ABS (UL94 HB), and flame-retardant ABS (UL94 V-0, model GBS12/43.5FR) is optional, with higher safety.
