GBS12/225B.B. battery is a VRLA gel battery in the Zelus GBS series. It adopts gel electrolyte technology, forming a fixed gel mass by mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume, effectively eliminating problems such as electrolyte evaporation, overflow and subsequent corrosion common to wet batteries. At the same time, antimony in the lead plate is replaced by calcium, reducing gas generation while maintaining mechanical properties. It is equipped with a valve regulation system to safely discharge gas, and has stronger resistance to extreme temperatures, impact and vibration performance.The battery is in a 12-volt integrated form, with a nominal capacity of 225Ah/C100, and the capacity range covers 7 to 225Ah (specifically according to the series' C2, C5, C8, C10, C20, C100 standards). It supports two installation methods: horizontal and vertical. The expected service life under normal working conditions is as long as 12 years, and the number of cycles is as high as 2500 times, meeting the long-life requirements of the Eurobat standard. The product has significant advantages: developed with solid lead coating technology and gel electrolyte, as a deep cycle lead-acid battery, it can provide maximum capacity and discharge cycles; the fully filled gel inside helps heat to be easily conducted to the shell, ensuring long-lasting performance in high-temperature environments;The electrolyte gelation effectively prevents acid stratification; realizes a maintenance-free design, no need to add water; low self-discharge rate, capacity loss less than 2% per month; the precise opening and closing pressure distribution of the special valve is crucial for the cycle life of the battery.
