GBC12/70B.B. Battery is a high-performance valve-regulated lead-acid battery in the Zelus GBC series, with a core technology of gel electrolyte design. By mixing sulfuric acid with silica ash, the electrolyte forms a stable gel and remains stationary. This innovative technology almost completely eliminates the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow issues of traditional flooded batteries, thus effectively preventing the corrosion problems caused by these issues. Meanwhile, gel batteries exhibit stronger environmental adaptability and can better resist the effects of extreme temperatures, impacts, and vibrations. Its valve regulation system can safely discharge the gas generated internally.Structurally, it is similar to wet batteries, but calcium replaces antimony in the lead plates.
