HR9-6 is a B.B. Battery HR series valve-regulated lead-acid battery with a 6 V monobloc design. The battery case is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, the battery cover is firmly connected to the case, and the terminal area is sealed. The battery cover has six holes used for filling electrolyte during production; after filling is completed, pressure relief valves are installed on these filling ports, and the pressure relief valves are made of non-flammable material.
Both the positive and negative plates of the battery are coated with specially formulated paste active material. The valve-regulated sealed design means the battery requires no water addition throughout its service life and achieves a no-free-acid state. The battery uses absorbed glass mat technology to improve internal gas recombination efficiency. For installation, the battery supports horizontal or vertical orientation (inverted use only is prohibited).
HR9-6 is designed specifically for high-rate discharge scenarios and can provide high specific output power in short-time discharge mode, with power density at the 5 to 15 minute discharge rate 30% higher than BP series batteries. This model has a nominal voltage of 6 V, a rated power of 36 W at the 15-minute discharge rate to 1.3 V per cell, and a rated capacity of 8 Ah at the 10-hour rate. The battery weighs approximately 1.4 kg, comes standard with T2 terminals, and can also be optionally equipped with T1 terminals.
Under normal operating conditions, this series of batteries has an expected float service life of up to 10 years, complies with the Eurobat standard for long-life batteries, and is suitable for applications with backup times of up to approximately 60 minutes.
