BC160-12 is a high-performance valve-regulated lead-acid battery in the BC series, produced as a 12 V monobloc with a Nominal Capacity of 160 Ah (20-hour rate) and a Weight of 45 kg. The housing is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, the battery cover is firmly connected to the housing, and the terminal area is effectively sealed, providing good structural integrity and leak-proof performance. The six holes on the battery cover are used to fill electrolyte during production, after which dedicated pressure relief valves made of non-combustible material are installed, enhancing fire and explosion safety. Both the positive and negative plates are coated with paste, and combined with absorbent glass mat technology, they achieve efficient gas recombination, making the battery Maintenance Free and requiring no water addition throughout its life cycle. The product is equipped with carrying handles, supports horizontal and vertical installation, and inverted use is prohibited. The standard Terminal Type is B9, and the optional Terminal Type is I3. BC160-12 is suitable for low-power uninterruptible power supplies, fire and security alarm systems, emergency lighting, surveillance systems, access control, and medical equipment, and is especially recommended for applications requiring 30 minutes or more of power backup; under normal operating conditions, the expected service life of BC series batteries can reach 5 to 7 years.
