MPL135-12X is a 12V integrated valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery from B.B. Battery's MPL series, with a nominal capacity of 130Ah (10-hour rate). The battery uses opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic as its case material, with the battery cover firmly connected to the case and the terminal area well-sealed, ensuring the overall structure is sturdy and safe. The battery cover is designed with six filling holes for electrolyte filling during production, followed by the installation of a dedicated pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials. This critical safety device significantly enhances the battery's fire and explosion resistance levels.
In terms of internal structure, the positive and negative plates of MPL135-12X both use a paste coating process, combined with absorbent glass fiber separator technology to achieve efficient gas recombination, thus truly achieving maintenance-free operation with no need for water addition by users. This design also ensures the battery has no free acid, making it a reliable leak-proof battery. The battery adopts a very low internal resistance design, endowing it with excellent high-power performance. It can provide high specific output power especially in short-distance high-rate discharge mode, making it an ideal choice for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications, typically recommended for scenarios with backup times not exceeding 60 minutes.
MPL135-12X provides flexible installation options, supporting horizontal and vertical orientation, but it is prohibited from being used in an inverted position. A handle for easy handling is provided on the side of the battery, simplifying the installation process. Under standard float charge application conditions, its designed service life can reach 10 years, and according to the Eurobat standard, the expected service life under normal working conditions can be as long as 12 years.
